The Price is Right

Anybody seen it since Bob Barker retired?

Drew Carey is pretty awkward. I know I'm biased because
nobody (except maybe Regis Philbin) could replace Bob Barker
but maybe Carey will get better as time goes on.

Also, since the majority of American game shows are stolen
from British television nowadays, was this the same case?

Drew Carey is so lame. He's always the weakest link of every
show he's been on. How this guy still gets job offers in the
Television business is beyond me.

I know it sounds stupid, but I always though Jay Leno would
be the best replacement. Older people love him, frat kids
love him, we are used to seeing him hold a microphone all
the time. And he is still somewhat of a huge celeb. I'm a
huge price is right fan, been watching since I was 5 or 6,
and when I found out Bobs contract details a few years back,
I always thought who would replace him.

Leno just made sense, more so because he is leaving the
tonight show around this time as well.

The thing that bugs me the most is the replacement for rod
... mannnnn the new announcer drives me nuts.

Instead of Drew Carrey as host, they should have brought
this former contestant back to replace Bob.

4:20 guy

They should keep Bob. And when he dies wheel his corpse
around like a puppet. You can't replace Bob

Bob sagat was in the running too.

I actually wanted Mike Rowe or Dave Atell to host

\\regis is the most annoying TV personality IMO

Dirty humor doesn't necessarily make it alright to joke
about the deceased. I see where you're coming from, though.

decapited guy with his brains all splattered on the floor he
bursts into laughter, he's nuts.

The Price Is Wrong, bitch!

I saw Happy Gilmore in theaters three or four times as a
teen. Damn that was funny stuff. They should have made a
spin-off of Bob Barker beating up everyone he plays with and
against, though. He's a bad ass like that.

hahah, yeah that scene caught me completely off-guard when I
first saw Happy Gilmore. I thought to myself, "should Bob
even be allowed to move like that? He could hurt himself!"

haha, good old Bob.
