slip a towel under the cat on the lap area. Transfer temporarily- the cat will look a bit startled. Go to the loo. Replace the cat with the towel edges into the lap. Stroke the cat whilst speakinging in reassuring tones saying things like 'good cat' and 'who's a lovely cat then?'. |

that sucks - lap cats are awesome. i remember the cat i live with (tiger) like two years ago. id start smoking a fat bongload and he's come right up on to my lap asking for a hit. then after like 5 episodes of south park both of us would get up and head to the kitchen. fuck kitty urinary tract blockages. |

The cat actually sought out the bud? hahahah that's hilarious. Yeah, I absolutely love lap-kitties, and I wish mine would just lighten up or get too old to give a shit and start taking advantage of my lap real estate. :) |
