definitely sounds more like a cohesive album to me and not
 just a collection of songs.

somewhat hidden and incorporated nicely with the rest of the

 | I like it , it's alright. I was kind of hoping for something a bit heavier, by track five I gave up hoping for
 something less boring.

 It's alright ...

Big up's on the recording though, sounds fucking great
compared to what they could have done (Over compress
everything kick on other albums). It sounds like they just
had an Mbox and a couple of good mics. I like the recording
a lot.. the songs are kind of like ... OK THOM weird fish
 yeah yeah ...

It's to bad there wasn't a heavier track on the album, it
 could have used a couple.

The ride cymbals sound so local band it's awesome :D

Overall I really liked how it wasn't all WE'RE FUCK ED UP
LOOK WE JUST DISCOVER APHEX TWIN ,

It's worth getting for free, but I can't see it being my
 favorite album anytime soon.

 | I'm on the same page as O.F.
Good album, not great. Revolutionary in its marketing, not
necessarily in its sound (as Kid A was touted), though
 fairly strong overall.

I guess I had to be someone of a hardcore fan and know all
these tracks in their live context to truly appreciate this
album. I like Radiohead, but I came into this record with
zero expectations. That being said, it didnt jump out at me
like some of their other releases have.

 | i like most of them as compositions, and everything works and is great, but it's not really a special groundbreaking
 album.

The sound design is more consistent through the album, not
as 'messy' and varied as earlier output.

they blend rock and electronic elements maybe in a too
careful way, they chose the obvious route instead of going
into unknown territory, the safe route you might say.

so far 15 step, arpeggi and nude are my favorites.

 | I would have been amazed at the album had I not heard the live stuff a year ago. As it stands I'm just pleased it's a
decent studio performance of the live stuff, though if I
were being honest, the version of 'Nude' will have to grow
