It's held up to repeated listens and has definately exceeded my expectations (low). Thom's voice is in top form and used in new ways (reckoner, house of cards). Lyrics I ignore. I'm not going to rate it but it's definately top three. I can definately hear ROYBIV on that one song (synth, drums, and loopy things in corners) and Sigor Ros ( ) on the beginning of 3rd or 4th, I forget. I thought U2 also the first time. Radiohead. I've listened 4 times. |

this is it. the album ive been waiting almost a decade for without ever realising, it just sounds effortless and whole. there are so many reasons that im enjoying this album after 10+ listens, not least the vocals/wails of mr yorke/o'brien. i want to cry =) |
