i'm about to get into the sun temple

i'm scurred!

this is also the first zelda game ive ever had while it was
still fresh, cause i usually dont buy systems untill the
next one comes out.

its exciting!

i wish i had more time to play this. :(

you'll most likely beat it way before i do. my favourite
part so far has been shouting SALVAGE ARM at the cannon
island guy to get him to lower the price of said salvage
arm.

i just put my mouth on the microphone and hummed

its really loud to a microphone

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-09 18:39 [#02130305]

that may be true, but my way is far more embarassing.

i gotta go find my ds and quit fuckin around with
sidequests

i cant let this thread die!

i've got two of the pure metals!

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-11 19:42 [#02131279]
Points: 6447 Status: Lurker

shit, man, i only have one. the one from the goron cave
place.

which so far is my favourite dungeon in the game. :x

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-11 19:45 [#02131281]
Points: 6447 Status: Lurker

bombchus are awesome, by the way.

and while i normally can't stand Stealth in games other than
metal gear solid, i think phantom hourglass really pulls it
off well in the ocean king temple. it adds some much needed
intensity that the other dungeons lack.

wait till you get the grappling hook you do so much shit
with it

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-11 20:12 [#02131294]
Points: 6447 Status: Lurker

yeah i've been marking all the pegs i can grapple onto once
i get it.

offline roygbivcore from Joyrex.com, of course! on 2007-10-12 02:21 [#02131330]

beat it!

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-13 17:30 [#02132052]
Points: 6447 Status: Lurker

i guess this means i'm the only person still playing it. i
got the second pure metal from the ice temple this morning.
i love making a tightrope with the grapping hook and
shooting arrows into it so that they bounce off. that
realisation led to my favourite puzzle in the game so far.

phantom hourglass definitely brings a lot of fresh food to
the stale zelda feast.

my unending hyperbole does not do this game justice.

nah nah, i'm playing it. i'm not even as far as any pure
metals (love you guys but you're killing me w/ spoilers). i
just got in the 3rd temple, temple of Courage i think. this
sucks, i had to work tonight or i'd be getting drunk and
playing....a little later though.

i haven't used aim since the last time i talked to you.
everyone had migrated to msn and it just became less of a
hassle to stick to one messenger.

if you ever get msn then we can, uh, hook up.

got it yesterday. impressed, but i prefer the earlier
versions (link 2 past + ocriana). hours are going like
minutes to be honest...

still, early days yet...

offline optimus prime on 2007-10-23 11:12 [#02136836]

i finally beat it. the ending is a nice tribute to link's
awakening.

still can't believe this is a ds game. there's more to it
than any console game i've played lately. superb
experience.

final grade: a++++++++++++++++++++

or, using the japanese grading system: s

two pure metals and on my way to get the 4th sea chart. did
anyone ever fill all those spaces for the custom ship parts?

100% the game.

how many times has that been for you? i've only beaten it
once. :x

phantom hourglass?

playing majora's mask

phantom hourglass is better than majora's mask but not
better than ocarina of time

thats all i can say about it

second

personally, majora's mask doesn't feel as Zelda-y to me as
any of the other games.

offline roygbivcore from Joyrex.com, of course! on 2007-11-11 23:35 [#02142879]

yeah i mean ocarina definitely deserved a sequel but there
was no zelda at all in majora's mask
