i had this dream this morning, ive been having it loads lately where im walking (usually through a crowd of people) and then i start running and then taking these massive strides well not really strides more like floating a few inches above ground while my feet just skip really lightly and im going really really fast. maybe everyone has that dream because it was a really common one for me as a kid and in the last few years as well. no idea what it means but its definitely a brilliant experience and feels like a real ability in the dream. |

I haven't remembered my dreams in a long time. It's annoying really as I intentionally used to wake myself up one hour earlier so I could stay lucid enough to shallow sleep/dream in the hour I had left to spend in bed. Time distorts really weirdly when you're dreaming, and i've had hours which felt likes days and sometimes felt like seconds... Saying that, I did wake up yesterday and was convinced there was a flying spider/wasp hybrid in my room. I also used to wake up as a child and see human skulls floating in the air. Its all in those moments after waking up/dreaming when things get a little bit fucked up. And its great. |

Funny you should ask. I had a lucid dream last night where I was at a supermarket/mall and there was obviously a new Star Wars film out as I saw merchandising on the shelves for a wrist strapped-laser shooter for kids. Suddenly, in the mall, there was a shoot out of storm troopers and Darth sporting some amazing new tech kiddie toys but obviously, easily, about 10 years advanced as these things shot out harmless laser bolts (ie: the bolts shot out like solid bolts of light - just like the shooters in the Star Wars film - but it was perceived as harmless). One of the storm troopers was donning some sort of Predator like, gattling gun laser shooter which rotated and was strapped just above his wrist. It was like a flash mob event which people (including myself) just accepted. I'm still smiling thinking about standing in the middle of a shoot out between storm troopers and Darth in the middle of a shopping mall thinking 'that's strange - dark against dark'... all the while accepting it knowing it was harmless kid stuff. |

i keep a dream diary (i only write the interesting dreams down though)... the latest one included : • a dark priestess (she was short, clothed in black and had a red pentagram-halo over her head — she was a very nice person though, not evil at all) • my brother making a joke about yogurt in latin (wtf) • my brother leaping over flights of stairs while telling me about a plan of his to assassinate Mao, then me telling him that it's reckless to talk about this here because there are red guards keeping watch on the stairs, then finally my brother kind of "twisting" himself badly while leaping and dying : ( • me eating at some kind of canteen in university, with a former classmate, while some teacher talks about geometry or whatever. |

Can't remember last night, but the night before I was back in high-school (or junior high or my first year of college depending on what ''scene'' it was) and I completely forgot my schedule. I was going around interrogating people to see what they knew about the times, and I even went to the office, but they wouldn't print out a new one for me. Eventually I ended up in some geology class that I had apparently not attended in a few months and I was nervous sitting there after all that time not knowing what was happening, and the teacher was giving me dirty looks. Dreams where I'm back in school and extremely confused are regular things for me. |

i had a dream 2 or 3 nights ago where id woken up (in the dream) and saw a shadow on my wall. i was scared of it but i got up out of bed anyway and walked into the next room and saw that the shadow had been coming from my dad. he was standing still in the middle of the doorway , his arms looking crippled and sort of stiff but wiggling and his head was shaking around unnaturally. when i saw his head wobble so rapidly i just felt a fierce penetrating terror that overcame my entire consciousness. i couldnt move my body but i was awake. i eventualy "woke up" sweating and cold i have had several of those kinds of dreams this year-- the other ones have been worse. in one several months ago i kept seeing ufo's outside windows in my home and id black out or have this feeling of being punched each time i spotted one. i'd wake up in the dream in different spots in my house each time i was knocked out. 2 grey aliens disguised/dressed as young human men showed up at my front door and staring at the ground. i dont remember what i said but one of them threw its fucking shoe at me HARD. they both immediately ran away with supernatural speed and another one of them was waiting with a getaway car. it scared the shit out of me how fast they could run. if youve played metroid or megaman you know how you can shoot your weapon automatically as fast as you can press A or B, wel. i jumped like 50 feet in the air following the getaway car throwing the shoe back at them with that kind of rapid-fire capability until my arm hurt. waking up from that dream there was a grey alien standing on my chest and i was paralyzed and trying to scream, then i opened my eyes and i was truly "awake" but was not really sure of it that entire day |

last nights dream was interesting my sister in law had come home late and had fallen asleep on the floor next to me in the tv room. see i didnt know this, i thought it was my friend brandon. in my dream, brandon had walked in and lied down on the floor and was snoring loud as fuck. i covered him up with pillows and sheets and didnt do anything his snoring was still loud. i eventually gave up and went back to sleep in my dream, i woke up expecting brandon to be there but it was my sister in law instead. snoring loudly and there were no pillows or sheets covering her. i think my consciousness is trying to fuck with me so i opened up my laptop (i rarely if ever dream about operating systems/computer programs, etc) and i chked my email,got on xltronic and opened this thread, typed that last post and now i am typing this post |

i have very similar dreams where i am paralysed. not many aliens but there is always a feeling of some interaction with an unknown force. sometimes when i am being paralysed, it feels like i am being electrocuted. sometimes it feels like information is being downloaded into my brain (like in the matrix). it is very intense and i always try and scream but can't. shit i just remembered. i had a dream recently where i heard my dad talking really loudly in tongues (like the maddening style of your dads moving head). the noise was constant like a drone. the voice was coming from the another room but it could be heard clearly through the walls. it was certainly scary and unsettling. my sister was in the room in my dream sleeping. i looked to her for reassurance. she said nothing. she got up but i couldn't see her face. all i knew was that once the light was on everything would be ok (this is a common theme in my dreams). as she rose i suddenly saw an alien appear from behind her (it looked like ET). i couldn't tell if it was evil or not but i started screaming regardless as my sister moved closer towards me. at this point i was doubting whether my sister was even human. i looked to the light and knew she had no intention of turning it on. that is when i woke up. in most of these dreams i wake up in my dream and always think i've properly woken up but it is never the case. sometimes i have woken up 4 times before it has been the real world. that can be fucking scary. |

yeah i always try to scream too when my conscious realizes its paralyzed. my unconscious DEFINITELY screams and it bleeds into my waking life and i'm not sure if it ever makes it all the way ,the action just kind of hangs somewhere in between. its a horrible feeling - id like to videotape myself sleeping and investigate it but thats probably unnecessary. imagine if you could videotape your dreams like in that movie . have you seen it? its rare that i can do this - but sometimes i will close my eyes while im drowsy and it will be as if my eyes are still open, i can see everything i could see when i was awake. i can keep it like that for a few minutes and its so blissful even tho im just staring in one direction. |

I was held in between the equator and a large body of water, divided into layers of seabream and shellfish. The water swelled up into a hospital with bed after bed filled with vietnam -shrapnell wounded soldiers. Their eyelids were melted off and their pupils were locked at 25 degrees. As their eyes which were made of water were exposed to the early morning sun, a faint hum started to come from the hospital. I stepped inside of this noise and I was underneath the floorboard of the Pizor Ghetto trying to be as silent as possible. A nazi officer was shooting through the floorboards and I had to scrape at mud to get further and further into the wall. I could see into the wood where my mother was being shot. |

Was walking home from some place (that part of the dream evaporated when I woke up), a dirt road with hills and woods on either side. And lots of kids laughing and playing around the area. I saw a bear ahead of me up the road and I looked back and saw another one behind me. I ran up one of the hills, no other option, and climbed a fence with razorwire at the top, chopping myself up while one of the bears proceeded to knock the fence down. Then I ran to some jungle-gym and climbed to the top of a very tall slide while one of the bears knocked it around. The other was eating all the kids. I waited until the bear that was after me got frustrated and turned its attention to some kids, then I jumped off and escaped, and was running up a highway for what seemed like 5 hours in the dream. I think this qualified as a Nightmare, I was scared. |

last night i dreamed i was put in charge of watching my oldest brothers newborn baby boy. in the dream my nephew was actually the size of a small action figure, and somewhere along the line i decided i should wrap him up in some napkins and cut along the top of a ziploc bag to have a nice smooth insert to fit him in my shirt pocket. in actuality my nephew is 2 months old and is pretty big for a baby boy. i remember going to hang out with a guy who works for the same theater company that i do and while i was there i decided to take my nephew out of my pocket and put him in a bag or a purse or something like that. i lost him during this because me and this other guy went around and got into looking at paintings in his house and talking about the weather. i couldnt remember where i'd put him. i came back into the room frantic and feeling very panicked, viciously panicked actually. in the dream i tore apart this guys couch and looked over everything trying to find my nephew. i couldnt find him and i was freaking out. this panic feeling bled into my conscious and i think that is what woke me up, i felt so relieved that it was a dream because i was scared to death i hadnt actualy lost my nephew |
