those of you who ignore this now, will regret it later.
6 records, 6 months, ltd. to 250 copies each. £30 all in
(includes postage)
most of the subs have already gone.

there's no fear of these not selling out. you don't want em,
don't buy em. but later on when its revealed who else is on
the series, you'll be kicking yourself.

Looks and sounds VERY nice! I want them but I don't need
them so I won't get them. If only I was ten years
younger...

(250 x 30£) x 6 = 45000£

That's a lot of doe...

yeah but manufacture, postage, paying artists, plus all the
goodies they come with, all comes out of that. i'll be
*very* surprised if russ (the guy who runs uncharted audio)
breaks even.

no-one i know running small labels makes any money, unless
they have a massive break/sell-out.

are you saying that you're selling these things with a loss?
what is the point of that man?

also your maths is WAY wrong.

its £7500

its £30 for the ENTIRE SERIES not each record!!

"are you saying that you're selling these things with a
loss?

for te love of it. i ran a record label at a loss for 6
years. love doing it though.

im not gonna argue with you or anything, i think its
admirable that you've been able to do that.. but why? i
mean, i know it costs a shitload to actually produce vinyls
and all these days, but selling them with a loss just seems
quite empty? you probably mean you cant make a living right?
i understand.

if they all sell, and theres no mistakes - it shouldnt make
a loss

but things an go wrong

small labels are very borderline. some releases make money,
some lose - but when you love the music and you want to put
it out there, sometimes you do it even if it loses money.

obviously you want to make money, but sometimes great
records arent successful :-(

Why don't they sell this on CD. As I understand it; more
people have CD players than turntables now-a-days. I hate
these stupid Vinyl only releases or as I call them illigal
downloads.

CDs have been devalued so much with bargain bins and the
like,

plus vinyl singles sell more easily than CD singles.

are you on crack?

everyone has a CD player, not many people have turntables.

I havn't got a turntable, but I have got a computer, I
download the stuff, where I would have bought the CD, had it
been released.

the 7in format, with sales topping 1m[illion]."

My math was wrong, indeed! Sorry. I think its admirable that
you do put out a quality product like this, loss or not.
It's not about the money it's about the art and that's just
what's make this world a tiny bit more bearable to live in,
you freakin' morons!
