Walking

I love walking, just taking long, aimless walks around
town. It's meditative, a great opportunity to clear your
head and think. And with music, it's even better.

I certainly agree with you there.

Walking is great, I walk about an hour a day. Music is a
necessity for me, I won't walk without it.

I'd rather walk during the night, but I have to get vitamin
D from Sol. It's like softcore voyeurism with all the
illuminated rooms clearly visible from the sidewalk. A lot
of people have large TVs these days.

I like it best at night. Even better in the winter, if
there's snow. I like places with no people. There are
penguins where I walk, but they're usually quiet late at
night.

PS: I'm not going to make the spin-off topic "Wanking."

i prefer sitting half baked at some street cafe with a beer
and watch all the other wankers strive past with their ipods
squeezed over their faces

It's nice to combine those two, walking from bar to bar

Walking is best suited to beautiful areas of the world. I
can't walk in my city because it's butt-fucking-ugly and
hotter than satan's asshole. I would, if there were anything
remotely worth viewing on the stroll. As it stands, you're
better off just getting from point A to point B as fast as
possible, with the exception of the winter, which is quite
nice and very mild.

It's probably not the safest thing to do, but I mostly enjoy
walking at night. I only walk during the day when I have
to. Knowing people in their cars/homes are watching me
makes me paranoid and the sun hurts my eyes. I hate it when
I'm walking alone on a narrow sidewalk and I see someone
else walking towards me. Where do I direct my eyes? Do I
acknowledge them? If it's a neighbor should I say hello?
These things make me nervous. That's why I prefer walking
at night when the world looks cleaner and I can pretend
everyone else is dead.

People make me slightly nervous, that's all. I was looking
for vintage movies to add to the youtube thread when I came
across this: a guy with a really short leg walking.
It's reasons like this I don't like walking in plain view of
people/cameras. The video is synching perfectly w/ a
Maurizio song I am listening to right now. It's almost
hypnotic.

You look at them and say 'G'night' or 'Good evening'. If
they act odd punch them out.

I hate it when I end up walking right behind some stranger
on a narrow sidewalk, and we both walk at the same speed. In
order not to feel like a stalker I have to walk unnaturally
fast or slow down. This is a huge problem.
