Horsehead and The Tea Time Sippers

Now that I've got my site up and running, I thought I'd spam
this album. It's full of zilty! And don't worry, no idm crap
here, just fun.

Really, really good shit. Reminds me of Ovuca in a lot of
places.

Highlights are: The Teapot Tilts, The Tension Trusts
(awesome beat), The Faced Moon Gleams Over Monk Grove, and
One Lump Or Two (the Picard sample was gold.)

I also cracked up hard at the sample towards the beginning
of Ghetto Chai Tea & Fine China Bling. Hilarious.

I had a couple minor gripes with specific sounds just being
a bit louder than the track warranted (that corkscrewing
sound in Someone Spilled The Maple Scotch for instance).
Minor though, like I said.

A super sarcastic fairy tale concept with a lot of melody
and some funky beats, check this out the rest of yous.

I can't get enough of "the Teapot Tilts" starting at 1:20.

I didn't like the first 2 tracks, but decided to give it
more of a chance, I'm glad I did as it gets better and
better.

The release reminds be a bit of the "candy cave" release on
BIYC and the synth in "Monologues from Demigods (Divine
Retrospect)" sounds like it's sampling one of the tracks
from "The Secret Life of Machines" on BIYC, almost note for
note.

Thanks for listening and for such detailed feedback :D
I had no idea a track of mine sounded like something on
BIYC, especially that track. As for the corkscrew sound in
the maple scotch track, I know.. it's a bit too hard and
clippy.

There is a very video game quality to these tracks, as if
someone revamped a sega genesis to allow complex sequencing.
Haven't listened to them all yet, but I just figured I'd
comment that I like most of the sounds and noises you use
very much. You were right, this was quite refreshing. :)
