patches are bollocks...its the hit you crave the warm shot
of tar and the thousand killer chemicals.

the craving is usually over in 30secs -1min. breath deep
and think of good music.

if you feel you need it bad ...get on your hands and nees
(or toes) and do as many push ups as you can ...you wont
wanna smoke after that i can tell you...at home ly down dont
sit up in your chair your hands willl wander ..looking for
cigys.

dont say to yourself ...."just one more packet" and dont
take a single cigy from a mate

take the pain for 2 -3 days !! be a man or woman! fuk the
multi national Fk heads ! and win your life back! WHACK ON
APHEX TWIN AND SCREAM YOUR F'IN HEAD OFF !!!! ....its fun!

you enjoy this transition soon it'll be over and youll be
free.....but not if you have just one drag of a cigy.

go swimming cycling ...drink loads tea. blah blah blah

as soon as you need one ....switch your mind to something
else ...your training your thoughts like a muscle. .....i
said muscle .......NOT penis.

Day two:
Last night I only wanted one after dinner. But boy did I
want one!

The patch seems to be working for me.

You can only give up smoking if you dislike the taste -
otherwise you'll never give it up. You like it, so accept
you like it. Would you never eat chocolates again if you
tried to force yourself?

You have to ween yourself off over a 1 year period. You cut
down from 20 a day to 10 a day to five a day. After 11
months just have one or two a day. Eventually you will
forget to take one a certain day, then two days. Then one
day you will smoke one and think "this takes like shit".

After that, you can still smoke 1 or 2 every month on a
social - but banning yourself is a bad idea, never say never
and then one day you won't want them.

just impossible for me. It really isn't that hard. good luck

Go live w/ your parents or somewhere to get away from
temptation for 2 weeks.

Mate, I managed to quit five months ago with help from
nicotine gum. I've tried numerous times, with or without
nicotine patches, but this time I cracked it. The gum was a
lot better for me because using it also simulates the
hand-to-mouth structure of smoking. You can also control
when you receive your nicotine hits.

It was after drinking alcohol that I failed the last times.
This time, when drunk, I began by eating chillies every time
I experienced a seemingly overwhelming craving. Burning your
mouth off is a powerful alternative! Nicotine gum was also
indispensable at these moments. I haven't smoked since.

Remember, if you do feel that you must smoke, just ask
yourself, 'how much better would I actually feel
afterwards?', or even convince yourself that you just did
smoke.

Good luck.

im on day 5 or someihtng.???

i lost count cause im not counting ...im not thinking bout
it,

as soon as i do ....i switch to music ( listening and
dancing around like a mad man and playing my drums like
animal from the muppets.)

when i gave in to the tar/nicotine last ....i felt so shit i
cant tell you ....errg ,physically and mentally.

the craving doesnt last that long ....it only does when you
think to yourself...i need one ...i need one!!

your body is just cleaning itself out.....and your senses
are starting to live again..your lungs are feeling the fresh
air, much more clearly without the filthy unatural cancer
tar blocking your airways..

have cups of cocoa!! or some wonderful food , try light
exercise...push ups do the trick.

since i gave up last ....ive been doing jobs and tasks i
should have done years ago!! hahah its awesome.

just think of the good sides ....and the good feelings ahead
..once you kick the habit you'll be clean once again...but
just one ciggy can mess that up for you.

Day Four:
I'm not wearing the patch today. Not because of advice, I
just plain forgot.
