Philip K. Dick's VALIS is my favorite at the moment, although A Scanner Darkly and to a (very slightly) lesser extent Do Androids Dream of Eelectric Sheep? are essential too, in my opinon. I don't really read a lot of books, though. I second Ulysses, it's really good. |
