For sometime now i have been trying to get ahold of brett. The last time i saw him was at McCarthys bar. I met him here and we even were on the same netlabel often trading tracks back and forth. I was finally able to drive up and meet him after what must have been a year of talking about it. I wasnt even 5 seconds through the door when he got me a pint of smithwicks and we eagerly chatted about various albums and such. I crashed at his place more than once. He was an honest to God down to earth person and a great man. We had many laughs together aswell as many pints. It wasnt until recently that i really tried to find him again. I had emailed him before but it never returned. So i finally found his bands myspace where the following was posted. It occured in november. Brett will be sorely missed. :( Brett.... you'd be happy to know that I "got my own boobs" now. |

Thats terrible, absolutely terrible, I really liked Aphexisatwin, didnt know his name was Brett. I feel terrible for his family and girlfriend, and their then "unborn son" and his other son. Its terrible, I doubt that it was drug related or anything, his posts were always very happy and positive. Possilby an accident of some sorts I might think. Truely a good person gone forever :( R.I.P. Aphexisatwin. |
