watmm isnt bad. I usually laugh everytime i am there. All the money that went into this site that was supposed to be done or something years ago. Broken promises = no $ but hey.... its easier to just be vague as fuck and never actually address members questions about it. Thats a great way to show you care about your own community. |

well, cunty just needs to relax, he doesn't need another account i think. if you stop believing there's ever gonna be any xlt v2, you just start posting more about music. extra features stop counting and stop getting attractive. well, at least that's what i try to do. i was going to send some money before the end of 2006 because there was the "xlt v2 is almost here" campain ( or has the campain been going on much longer ? ). but then spring came, my recordbag disappeared, xlt v2 didn't come and i thought "fuck it, why should i care if Someone doesn't" and suddenly, to confirm my thoughts, users started to disappear, some got banned. please, if someone can convince me that it's worth sending money to keep this board alive, i'll do it. because i still think this is one of the best music boards on the net. but i'm getting more and more convinced that it's not just about "sending the money", as Phobs says. it's about keeping some promises and deadlines. Phobs seems to say we should care because he does and if we don't then he stops caring = closes the site. But we stop caring because he seems to have stopped caring. The circle gets closed. |

LOL... that page is again, fake... run by one of the WATMM members - if you'd been keeping up on WATMM, you'd know that ;O) I haven't actively asked for donations for over a year now, because, until I actually deliver the site, there's no reason for anyone to subsidize it (people are still welcome to purchase enhanced membership privileges on the forum if they wish), plus with hosting only being 20USD a month at DH (and I get more space and bandwidth I ever got with being on a dedicated server), and coupled with the 65USD a month I've been getting from those unobtrusive ads at the bottom of the pages, financially for WATMM, things are fine. |

He doesn't have to give people much access.. for instance, if he has a design, and the problem is getting the structure (html/css) right, there are more than enough capable people here, and all he'd need to share would be the image files. I could most likely easily and quickly write up proper validating xhtml and css for just about any design. No access to the server or anything like that would be required. Also, I don't think there's too much to worry about with most of those on here capable of doing the actual serverside (php) coding. |
