...i got this email today:
"The Golden Master has been shipped to the pressing plant! Actually, Leo took a flight down to Austria and delivered the disc personally to the pressing plant. We wanted to make extra sure that Reason 4 arrived in style and comfort since it's been so hard to let it go. (Yeah, two years, we know.)
Anyways, after we released the three Release Candidates we basically sat here at the office, testing, holding our thumbs and watching the board to see if anyone had found the Mother of all bugs. That didn't happen and boy is that a relief for all of us!
More details and a longer version of this text can be found at http://www.propellerheads.se/betatest/
See you there! THANK YOU!

I can't wait. I'm sure that even the things that don't look that appealing now will become indespensible in a few weeks (as happened when I got 3) and going back to using 3 afterwards will be rubbish.

4 is good. I've been running the beta. Bit worried how quickly they went through the Release Candidates though.
Tuesday RC1 is available. Thursday RC2 is available. Money RC3 is available.
Then that e-mail arrives. Obviously I'm not keeping an exact time frame there but it was damn quick.
Reason 4 is good though.

Well, imho part of the beta testing process is to build hype. Thor patch designers have been working with a candidate since fall of 2006.
I wonder how quick the RC process went for version 3?
I'm hoping by this time next month I have the full version in my possession.

youre right, matrix has it, sometimes its easy using the search function in help ;)
i heard that the "tie /gate" button has this magical feature,
but theres other config to be made to make it slide, like portamento value and legato switched on, polyphony off...
then its about to be fun :D
