Hey, anyone here know what equipment RDJ used for the
Melodies from Mars collection, they're real cool lo-fi
beats, so I guess I'm more specifically talking about the

On a serious note. If you listen to the RDJ album the sounds
used are very similar to the sounds used on MFM. If I
remember correctly Rdj said in an interview that most of the
synth sounds and drums were synthesized using some IRCAM
software which wasn't stated precisely. Add that to a
sampler of any description and you have the basis of MFM and
the RDJ album. Hope that helps.

it actually wasnt aphex who did melodies from mars. The
person who did do MFM used renoise though.
