The Tuss - Rushup Edge

How is it? I just ordered it and Confederation off Amazon,
and I've heard Rushup | Bank 12 which is f'n good. Are the
rest of the tracks up to that potential? Richard sounds like
he's back.

Richard sounds like he's back in 1999 which was the last
year you could get away with saying lush melodies and fucked
up beats was in any way tolerable. Even if it's any good,
which okj it is, it's still too little too late and pretty
forgettable. I'd like it more if he reinvented Techno rather
than seem to obsessively try to out-bedroom bedroom
musicians. He's no longer taking on the world, he's just
proving to the Cygnuses of this world that he can do it
better, yadda yadda. And I no longer care about either.

the album most were expecting after druqks, some druqks
drill style tracks with the things he has supposedly learnt
with the analords, typical drill acid afx tunes with a less
poppy attitude... what a bunch of shit... i fucking love it,
a melodic chaos jumping from one emotion to another without
a rest, that place between melancholy and euphoria only afx
knows... i am being enthusiastic here.

home sweet home.

..stuck all his unsatisfying RDJ records in the skip before
flying home because they've not dated all that well apart
from SAW 85-92, SAW II and Polygon Window.

it's fair enough to be a hater (tho not the best option)
but if you're gonna be a hater i think it would be agood
idea to qualify your comments by listing 3 recent releases
that you dig; ones that you do rate
i.e. I think Rushup Edge is Crap etc etc
I really like Rick Astley, Coldplay and Plone
that kind of context would help birds of a feather stick
together or something
?

ah ah, funny diamontron because that's exactly what brian
eno wanted : he just thought that after any critics/article,
the writer should add his all time favorite records so that
the reader (or the artist) could judge the Judge.

it really is the best driving around music, i think. i was
playing The Tuss Rushup Edge cd purchased through a popular
online vendor specializing in the that type of music and at
a stoplight a shady looking man was walking up my way...when
i unrolled the window and he heard the wicked synth lines
off of last rushup he just turned around like "my bad". he
knew he couldnt fuck with that.
