My new release: Grinder E.P

offline CS2x from London (United Kingdom) on 2007-08-03 11:45 [#02108765]

Hello wonderful peoples,

I have finished an E.P, soon to be released on vinyl on
Slowfoot Records. It was initially recorded in my studio,
with live stuff being done at Slowfoot's studio, and finally
mixed at Ivor Guest's studio.

Two tracks from it are now up on my myspace:
HERE

Enjoy!

Budapest is still a wicked tune, honestly haven't got sick
of listening to the 96kps mp3 of it i extracted

my ears are currently occupied but i'll listen to the new
stuff soon..

one killer track after another. Your music is incredible.

grinder has this absolutely fantastic orbital-fsol-esque
rawness to it. great, great stuff. wish i could hear it on a
big soundsystem.

Heh, it's not there yet because the cover art isn't done and
all the vinyls haven't been pressed yet. But it's going to
be done soon to promote the album. I'd recommend the
"Snorkel" album to you; it's sounding very nice indeed, and
they have a good live following. Unfortunately that's
another one that hasn't quite come out yet! (but will be out
in a few weeks.)

Weird. They're still driving horses and carts in this
village, the nearest "proper" shop is hours away, and all
the cars are shitty, but people have WIRELESS.

The village wireless returns; yes.

The album after Cognessence won't be out for a while yet,
sir. I think I'm getting a bit too obsessive; tracks are
taking a very long time to plop out into completion land.
I've found a nice violinist to play on a few bits and pieces
though, and a gypsy singer woman. The E.P will be out in a
few weeks, though. It's being mastered now and the cover art
is almost done.

Thank you for listening.

I'm very much up for that. I did send some messages about it
last time, but to no response. My brain was melting a bit,
so that might have had something to do with it. "Body
Riddle" has got its own little website-thing; if mr.Clark
has one, anyone should.

listening again, cause it's that good, oh yeah. yes.
the entire track is a climax, like stallone climbing a

Damn, nice tracks. Grinder has a vaguely industrial feel to
it. Sanza Live reminds me of Orbital, in a very good way.

Any possibility of an mp3 or cd release?

I hope you do listen to it, my baby man-child. There might
be rotting rats encoded in there, somewhere; you never know.
Maybe the sound of a rat giving birth to a still-born child
was used to control the frequency changes in one of the drum
tracks? I hope not, though. These aren't such morbid times,
not like the year 2012 will be, at least. That year will be
Hell on Earth.

Hello. It is comming along nicely. The test pressings came
back a couple of days ago, and are correct, and the cover
art is done, so the 1000 copies should be pressed soon and
ready for release. Thanks for the interest, sir! :-)

There's still lots of copies of the album left, thought.
*cough*. ;-)

yeah I was planning on grabbing the 12" and the ep at the
same time, to cut on postage to the US, any idea when the
12" will be availible, are we talking weeks or months
still-

gew = few = dead rats*

We're talking weeks, sir. It would have been out by now if
it wasn't for my folly and perfectionism; we had it mastered
and ready to go ages ago, but after it was mastered to vinyl
the first time I noticed some timing fuckups on the drum
freakout sections and a couple of mixing issues, so we had
to get it mastered again. Since it had been finalized at
someone else's studio it took longer to sort all the stuff
out than if I had just done it here.

Cheers! Have a glass of wine with me.

out now. Even if you don't like the music, the actual thing
itself looks very nice, and music is all about looks. Erm...

Here: ROBOT LOGON myspace

It's also one sale at WARP MART so if you're getting
other things the maybe it'll be nice shoved in there.
