dont worry, it wasnt directed at you, it was directed at
dog_belch's crusade against new music.

That Live at the Hare & Hounds set of Black Dog
Classic Classics is like four particularly good
christmases all at once. And a bonus round of sex with
someone you've fancied for years.

Do you think pop history would have judged you differently
had you called yourselves, all those years ago, The Black
Dong?

We've been called worse and do you think "Pop History" even
knows who we are? ;)

Three more mixes next month...

Pop history barely even knows who The Tuss is... I mean
The Tuss; c'mon!

THANK YOU very much for this. That set from The Hare and
The Hound was AMAZING. I about lost it when I heard 3/4
Heart. I still listen to all the old Black Dog/Plaid stuff
on a consistent basis and it's been a dream of mine to hear
those old tunes played out live. This has truly made my
day.

P.S. Just a quick question. I've heard from a couple
different people/places that back around the Warp transition
that there was a possible Black Dog/Balil LP/EP that was
suppose to be released on Rising High. I don't know if
there's any truth to this, but if there's any unreleased
material from that time long ago, please consider putting it
out!

Ha, I lost it when the sample came in for 3/4 heart, top
stuff.

How many times would you have shit your pants at a gig like
that when they played tune after tune after tune you'd been
waiting years to hear.. I'd have needed at least 20 pairs of
y-fronts.

That's nothing; Think if the Grinning Ape was
playing. I mean, hello... I might as well go there
without any pants at all!

Many thanks for the kind comments people ov X, we figured it
was about time we released some of our mixes to say thanks
to all the people that have come out to see us live so far.
We can't wait to get stuck into more live gigs, the US of A
calls real soon :)

Revpersona, yes there was talk but it was so long ago, all
that stuff will never see the light of day - gone.

Stay tuned, more mixes, more dates, more releases to
follow.

wow

just listened to the sub-club and hare-and-hounds mixes back
to back on my bike....... got up before dawn, put on the
mp3-player and went for a ride..... the sun came up just as
I reached the beach, the tunes were SPOT ON....... the
mixing was faultless, the track selection exquisite..... the
whole energy of the music was original tBD....

Thanks for this.... any chance we will ever see you
down-under?

I don't think dogvomit's comments were necessarily kind. He
was basically saying he wants to have some sort of feces
related sex with you without your concent, as I interpreted
it.
