After 3 weeks of relax without polls here another one.

aphex twin, afx, caustic window, polygon window, soit pp,
hot butter, bradley strider, gak, blue calx, q-chastic, the
diceman, the tuss, etc... etc...
After about 20 years of honourated career is time to track
a balance.
Xltronic community will help Richard to understand which
period of his music maker career we like most.

Are you ready?

...3...2...1... VOTE NOW!!!

\/\/.

fuck i shouldve voted one. i voted two.
i haven't even listened to the 96-01 stuff recently, yet,
its always been the stuff that got me most in awe and in
love with his music and style. ive been listening to alot of
selected ambient works recently, and i care, but i voted
two.

imo, best richie period, most innovative, goes from ICBYD to
windowlicker (1994 - 1999 aprox.)... before he made
excellent music with existing parameters. later he
sublimated his style.

part though.

3 for me, I can't listen to his old albums anymore.

i liked analords in 3 but then the tuss killed it
2 was good just not his best compared to 1
1 has saw abb icbyd shit any one of those during any other
period 2 or 3 would have sealed the deal but they were all
in the same so it was easy even tho like i said 2 is good
but not against 1

Voted #2 only because thats how I got into his music.
RDJ stuff, that is.
I should probably change my Vote to #1 though.

Points: 12920 Status: Lurker

1] - 1990-1995 [ABB 1-4, Saw85-92, Saw2, ICBYD, etc] (19)
2] - 1996-2001 [RDJ Album, ComeToDaddy, Windowlicker,
Drukqs, etc] (40)
3] - 2002-2007 [Smojphace, Analord, The Tuss?, etc] (4)

actually 2002-2007 worst period of the aphex twin career...
not a good thing i suppose.
