www.myspace.com/outlinear - pure oldschool-hardcore anthem.

Come on cunts he's only 17!

My advice, 6u9:

You are posting to a bunch of musically jaded, snivelling
individuals. They are not going to sugar-coat their
opinions, but you can trust that smoke will get blown up the
rectum when it's truely deserved. "fuck you sick
coachroaches" is prolly not the right attitude to have
because people here generally have a valid thing to say
based on a grounded knowledge of music. Or maybe it is the
right attidude to have, i forget..

Instead you could be grateful that you are receiving the
raw, uncensored truth. If I was to post spam here I'd expect
nothing less and this isn't to discourage people from
spamming (it is wholesomely a good thing I believe)

Not that it does (or even should) mean anything to you, but
I gained a lot of respect for you after reading that post.

I listened to most of the track, the drum programming really
wasn't bad, it's just not my thing, either. But I think this
would probably be considered pretty good by people who like
this style.

Sounds like you were trying to do soundmurderer & SK1
attempting to mix a bit of old hardcore/rave with their
jungle style. Not bad by any means, particularly given your
age. I think some of the less than kind comments were so
harsh because of the way you described the track. Describing
your own work as anthemic, or generally bigging it up is
(quite rightly) seen as a bit big headed. It's one thing to
say, "I'm really happy with this, it's my best work" and
quite another to say, "It's the best track ever written".

HTH in future.

you seem to be really new, so make some more tracks and see
how it goes. if you keep at it, i'm sure you'll find out
whether or not you have any interesting to offer musically.

ok, thanks for adequate advices. I don't even listen to
soundmurderer and i hate him, i don't even who the other one
is... i'm doing this shit for 5 years by now, since like 12
first off. 2nd don't try to break me with your pathetick (if
it is) comment> i'm a capricorn (YOU JUST CAN'T). 3rd. i'm
into idm since 12 too so don't try to tell me that i rip
some sick retarted soundwacker or some shite. and 4rh i've
12 compilations/albums/single by my self. so i don't post
shit on myspace any more only my per. favs..... till next
time.

See, you don't seem to have taken that advice on board.

W00t, 5 years. I'm sure no one here has made music for 5
whole years. For your info there are plenty of people here
who have made music longer than you have been alive. There
are also "proper" artists here. Putting out 12
albums/singles/compilations by yourself just shows
you have faith in your music. How many have other
people (who aren't your mates) have put your music out?

Drop the attitude and people will be a lot more prepared to
help/advise you with your music. My response was actually
fairly pleasent, but as you responded it as if it was an
insult, you've shot yourself in the foot. If you're not
careful, you'll wind up as Theo_Himself_MK2 and no one would
want that.

you're doing this shit for 5 years now? It really does sound
you just started out, i guess you just need to work on your
composition skills some more cause this is hardly anything i
get from a second individual who's 5 years into whatever
kind of music. Also being into IDM since 12 does not apply
to dnb or jungle. I know a dude who's into chiptune for over
16 years, and trust me, he sucks balls.

track is 4/10, wanted to give it a 5/10 but the song just
stopped abruptly

There are some good ideas there. However i think you need to
work on the structure of your tracks. I think that you
should work on the incidentals, also, it needs a bassline to
unify things a little bit more.

strings didn't sound right and couldn't evolve synths too so
at the end it might get a little repetetive. but thank you
for honest opinions. i'm posting new thread with a link to
my mix...

judging from your posts and that one track, i think i can
set a tone for your backcatalog. If this is one of those
tracks you uploaded because it's your personal fave, i'm not
sure what to think of the stuff you keep to yourself

i downloaded your mix, i'll keep my voice high for how long
i want to

i know i get some attention right away but sometimes it gets
really stressfull. like, on torontojungle i was offended:
the guy said i'll break your jaw but that pee-place talk;
one clown from that forum presented himself to me as dj suv
or reprazent/full cycle crew, i believed him, he asked for
my tunes, photos, short bio n so forth. first we chetted
using pms later on gmail. this SHITE went on for like a week
or so. after all he posted ABSOULTELY ALL OF OUR
CONVERSATIONS in the thread and make big fun off me. how do
you like this? some people still mention to me about him as
jokes... i personally call that lo-end porky jockes
