I don't rate Rushup Edge that much really - it's alright,
but doesn't really make me sit up and think wow! i'm also
still not convinced this is aphex as many of you probably
know. I liked Confederation Trough a bit more, but it's
still not the totally fresh new sound I was hoping for from
rephlex. oh well.

my opinion, on the other hand, consists mainly of open
brackets and the number three.

i am listening to it now for the first time i am on the
third track Shiz KO E.it sounds really good : )
and it definetly sounds like aphex.i havent gived a tuss
about hearing it because i dident like the first tuss
realease Confederation Through Ep and i dident think it
sounded like the real aphex on there like it does on this
one Rushup Edge.

i always thought the acid bits were reminiscent of his 1996
computer mucking around tracks (crappy and such?).
reading about it being played on a gx1, and then hearing the
track as it made (the acid synth following the drums, i
think same notes as the other synth), all this was
enjoyable.
no way would i say its my favourite of the lot, but i
definitely do like it.
