Written like it would be in Wire:
Digital Mantra has now managed to consolidate the
atmospheres, whether they be atmospheric, enjoyful, or damn
frightening, into an album. Vincula has been a growing work
and certainly pays off with 25 digital lo-fi atmospheres.

Back to normality now, it's bloody good work. Some of the
darkest stuff I know of! Love it!

i never like to use words to describe music, i just want to
play the track and let the listener hear it himself, but in
this case, there are some words that can be used to describe
the album.. alien, organic, lush, dark, moody, complex, and
so forth..

everything from organic glitch to lush ambience is mixed and
separated here in the most amazing way, and i really find
this to be one of my favorite albums.

I wasnt sure of my own piano melodies in the alien
soundscape, and i still am not, but I find myself with so
much material to digest here that it doesn't matter.

Nice stuff :]

I would like to give this one more bump, seeing as xltronic
is primarily my only outlet for my music. I really want to
share this album yet I have so few that have listened/will
listen.

That's probably just because myspace sucks and there were
only 4 tracks uploaded there (and the best one was the last
one imo), and the link didn't even go to myspace initially
so that whole extra click is too much work for people with
short attention spans. I didn't even realize you could
download the albums until you linked to that Horsehead one.
I don't want to download to my laptop though; my other
computer doesn't even have music playing software yet.

I've heard the first 9 tracks so far, and I love it. I
especially like the contrast between the noiser/more
"mechnical" pieces and the piano-ish reflective
compositions. I'll keep listener, good sir baby child-boy
man Mernans.
