Isaac Hayes: Thing for you

The synth that kicks in at 2:21

Can anyone recognize it??? I really love that sound. I can't
seem to emulate it in any way.

Great track by the way, i think.

It's the black man.
The only way to reproduce it is with a black mommy and daddy
who will produce the synth and then feed it fried chicken
until it is ready.

Fuck me... I figured it was something like that. I can only
think of examples in black music, when i try to think of
where i've heard that synth.

I wish i had those droopy eyes, sexy voice AND that fucking
synth.

Process of elimination. Its not a DX7, but I wouldn't be
surprised if its a korg m1

you are incorrect my dear friend - it is in fact the sound
of a nat, it's wings recorded at 128kHz True Sound
resolution, then timestretched and then played bak on the
sampler as a melody

:)
sorry, just had to put you right there my friend

No guarantees. I am not a fan of 80's romplers, which I am
sure that is (its not subtractive, and its not fm).

Sounds sort of like a harmonica.
