I heard an interview with him on CBC and I believe he
pronounced it like ''RIGH-SHHH''. Or whatever. Rice with a
lisp. Not ''rike''. Weird guy, speaking in third person like
that.

I tend to pronounce it pretty much like that, in a
semi-German way. But with him being an American, I'm not

That's correct...

its most definately a 'sh' sound at the end, not a 'ch',
although I still use that in casual conversation.
