Because this track is quite simply my favourite piece of electronic music ever, I decided to remaster the crappy sounding CD original and attempt to get it sounding a little phatter.
Back in the early 90s when CDs were just becoming mainstream, a lot of labels re-released old vinyl records, but didn't actually master them specificially for CD (mainly because it was a new format and they hadn't quite got their head around normalisation and whats not). As such, a lot of records sounded flat and lifeless. If you have any "VA" compilations from around that time, you'll know exactly what I mean.
Anyway, "The End" for those who don't know it is by the american disco band "Change", but this track was produced by an Italian producer called Paolo Gianolio. It has the most beautiful melody and for its time, it was an exceptionally forward-thinking piece of music. Completely out of place on the actual album I may add, but it needs to be heard.
Change - The End (40mb/flac)
