They were on Jo Whiley's (Brit DJ) show where Jo introduced them by saying "its time to drop some beats into the mix with Kosheen". Cheesy twat. I hate over-the-hill DJs who try and win credibility by using the 'lingo' of the youth. I bet she goes home to listen to her MOR dance albums after the show and... ...oh my God... ...has a joint. |

I enjoyed Resist a great deal and was thoroughly disappointed to hear Kokopelli, I know they weren't exactly underground, rough edged DnB before, but this is appauling. They've turned into some sort of manufactured pop group. I spotted Kokopelli on 12" this afternoon for the princely sum of £8.50 in Virgin... You'd never get Resist on Vinyl that cheaply brand new... Perhaps it's a sign that their "selling out" didn't work and they're not selling so much? |
