this band seems incredibly popular... in france at least.

i have to say, this d.a.n.c.e. song is really catchy
(and the video for it is very cool).

Seems to be the more popular thing in this board to dis-like
them than like them. But then again their pulling some
pretty serious bank while the rest of us are just posting on

it doesnt sound close to basement jaxx? where do you get
that from.

its more like a french house thing thats going on. justice
use a somewhat near composition to daft punk.

offline oyvinto on 2007-05-14 10:02 [#02083730]

they don't sound like basemnet jaxx, but they all do more or
less sound like daft punk.

I think their next album is gonna be the big one. You get
the feeling they've got loads of potential.

offline Taxidermist from Black Grass on 2007-05-14 12:14 [#02083786]
Points: 9958 Status: Lurker

Daft punk is awesome. This does sound similar in the whole
bubbly-but-dark dance music kind of way, but it has some
distinct differences that seem to set them apart. The
noisiness would be one, and the seeming rampant choppiness
would be another.

I would actually compare this a lot more to Jackson and His
Computer Band in the end, which once again, has a similar
feel to daft punk in the same way, but its a lot more
technically sophisticated.

sorry for expressing my opinion fuck ball

Justice is good, i like them! i was just stating that people
thiking Ed Banger is influenced by Daft Punk are mistaken.
Mr. Oizo has had much greater influence on that sound than
some autotune using gimmicky mother fuckers who are
basically fatboy slim wearing a battlestar galactica cylon
mask

well i sought of agree, for me they are a one hit wonder,
their new sound was quite refreshing but they are moving on
to a more pop sound which i don't like. i predict more
commercial success around the corner for them in the
future...

Well, calling someone fuck ball after being called a troll
isn't troll like at all. The fact that you stated your
opinion in a manner that seems designed to start an argument
only points a finger at that.

Anyways, I agree with you. This stuff seems much more
influenced by Mr Oizo than it does daft punk. That said,
this justice album is a lot more interesting than anything
Mr Oizo has done flat beat notwithstanding.

dude, i was all over it.

its quite excellent ,alot of the songs they played live at
coachella (plus the singles of course). the uffie track is
prolly the weakest on the album, it doesnt really pop.

also, the rip on demonoid is not a real one, as there are
different bit rates, as well as things like phantom pt 1 not
mixing into pt 2 and waters of nazareth being in mono, and
the transitions between tracks are real roungh.

but its justice nonetheless, and im enjoying it.

hey, fyi peoples, theres a proper from cd rip up on oink and
things, and i guess in record shops if youre one of
those people.

the final album mix of let there be light has some awesome
tweaks that just completely top it off. everyone raise your
crosses!

just to update, this is billion times better than the fake
rip which was previous up. both dvno and the party are
completely different songs practically, and with the full
audio quality, the album really flows nicely.
