The CS2x had a great rendition of "Fade to Grey" in its demo bank. Thanks for the video, that woman danced in a weird and wonderful way.

Definitely great stuff! Love the meaning of the song as well. I double layered it in my second radioshow just to honour them.
I really love this era in pop music.. it's like the revolution of the drum machine, isn't it?

Fade to grey if ok but not in the same league as Ultravox. Ultravox - Mr X is one of my fav tunes.

Dan, if you're reading this my friend, you're right. Nothing else on the album comes remotely close. Blocks on Blocks is fun though.

Awesome, haven't heard this since parts of it were featured on a 80s compilation CD box commercial many years ago. Sounds like Ladytron was heavily influenced by it.

Billy Curry's classical influence and interest in electronic instruments made Ultravox.
I love those electronic strings in Mr X, anyone who hasn't heard it should check it out. You can tell this track had a heavy influence on Juan Atkins/Cybotron etc.

But this is THE best. Watch from 2:28 onwards - this guy was a true superstar and his dark electronica from 79 still pisses on most stuff today.

John Foxx > Gary Numan
I think John Foxx released 7 CDs last year (not albums, just CDs, some were double albums). Is that a record?
