How can I enhance my personality

I think drugs are a great way? How have drugs changed you
to better?

Ecstasy can help with post-traumatic stress disorder (see
recent research). Some people can control their minds well
enough that, during hallucinations induced for example my
shrooms and lsd, can direct them, and use them as tools of
creativity.

In general, the key ingredient of a fertile mind is a wealth
and variety of experiences. Drugs can open some doors, but
the value of opening your mind in more mundane ways cannot
be underestimated.

Everything in the universe needs care and effort to
constantly improve, or even continue running. Stars
eventually burn out, since their system is not in proper
equilibrium. Machines needed maintenance attention. Our
bodies need good diets and exercise. The mind is no
different from any other device in this regard.

i agree with you sneakattack, but for balance it needs to be
said that some types of people should stay the fuck
away
from the more hardcore drugs (particularly
hallucinogens)

Well Monoid, if you are anything like me then yes im
referring to you. Opening up your mind is one thing, but
letting your brain fall out in the process is another. And
my brain is best left with all its dungeons and dragons
buried deep under the surface. If you are like me, don't try
hallucinogens

Drugs will cure your social anxiety - I'm sure you'll feel
much more confident pacing the streets stoned out of your
gourd.

by taking drugs you're running away from your problems.
there's only one solution: you have to face the facts and
deal with them.
social anxiety? have you read the book "the game" i told you
to read? if not, do so now. you incredible wussbag.

why do we always have to go through this?

you just don't get it monoid, you'll never get it. i don't
like speaking for other people say i'll say *personally i
don't like being around people who doubt themselves or need
constant approval.

i'll give you an example. lets say i know someone called
person A. i say to person A, "nice hat". person A says
"thank you" and then we continue to talk and everybody is
relaxed.

now lets say i have a friend person M, assuming he has all
the same qualities as person A only he is socially paranoid.
i say "nice hat" and he thinks i must be paying him out or
what im saying is sinister because person M believes he has
no real friends and nobody would ever pay him a genuin
compliment. so instead of thanks he say "what does that
mean" or "are you trying to say you hate me?" etc..
basically the response irks me and i no longer want to be in
person M's company.

the themes of my crappy unnecessary example are:

relax, cause and effect, projecting happiness and ...
you will never get it because you choose not to. drugs are
not the answer, drugs make poorly adjusted people crazy.

you can enhance your personality by not feeling the need to
enhance you personality. just chill the fuck out

i'm never speaking to you again. you ruin what is otherwise
an excellent forum.

Drugs might be helpful to some people, but these days I
prefer to enjoy and deal with things sober-minded. Being a
stoner might feel good while it lasts, but I only have vague
memories of events that occured during stoned periods ,and I
didn't achieve very much during them either (even if it felt
like I was achieving things at the time.) Then again, I'm
sure with some people its the opposite.

I think you're generally right - my own drug days are
similar: they were good & I don't regret them, but I knew
when to stop & move on - I think that's the key.
