I've been looking all over the internet trying to find out
when the next Aphex Twin album is coming out and haven't
been able to get an answer. Does anyone here know?

I like Aphex Twin. : ) <3

I'm afraid to inform you that the Aphex Twin Experience have
disbanded.

Ah no. I haven't heard about that. Maybe they will have solo
careers?

He should at least release some remix, I don't ask too much.

Maybe in the exciting field of music for advertisements.

Aphex hates his fans

I don't think so. I think they would like to meet fans like
me.

So there is no more Aphex Twin? That is sad. Maybe the group
will decide to release their remaining material.

They already did that, with the Analord series of Extended
Players.

What do you mean, "what are you?"

Alas, I have never seen Aphex Twin live. I live in America.
: (
"Glade festival" is that related to the deodorant?

Did you get their autographs?

If you didn't like Analord, then you are not a true fan of
the Aphex.

I just wanted an album with some listenable songs like on
RDJ Album or like the "On" song.

But as I've found out here, it probably won't happen. : (

Sad day indeed.

ok, seriously now: Aphex Twin is just one guy... his name is
Richard D. James, and he releases music pretty much when he
feels like it, under various aliases (Aphex Twin and AFX are
the most common but there were also Polygon Window, Caustic
Window, GAK, Smojphace etc). he will probably release some
new music in the future, but i think no one knows when, nor
how, nor how it will be yet.

welcome by the way!

Naughty naughty naughty!

You guys were joshing me. No fair. According to this fellow
above me, Aphex Twin is a single person. Bad on all of you.

I don't know these other aliases, though. Is Aphex Twin the
best of them?

Thank you!

there has been some polls in the past asking "which Richard
D. James alias is your favourite?", and Aphex Twin always
came first if i remember correctly...

but i don't think it makes that much sense; it's the same
person anyway, and an Aphex Twin release can sound as
different from another Aphex Twin release as from an AFX
release.

It's not nice to josh people about. But I do not take it
seriously.

I want the next Aphex Twin ablum to be good enough to break
the Billboard top ten so he can make lots of money and make
more music for the rest of his life. I want it to be a pop
album.

He's already very rich; pimping your music to corporations
to use in their adverts and so boost their 'cool' and 'hey,
we're not scum' ratings helped that.

idm is dead

idm was never alive
i-D magazine journalist invented it in 1992
and journalists can only talk about things in a way that
tells us about themselves and their own limitations - not
really the subject they are supposed to be talking about.
otherwise they would be making albums or writing books. most
of them are really young and inexperienced too - or really
old and cynical and overpaid
one or two aren't, granted

electronic music

dance music

erm... "EM/DM"

better than "idm" and still a bit "AC/DC" rock n roll

have u seen Tenacious D it is an all time classic
so is Clerks II
total trash but real quality, depending on what YOU are
braindance
