i dont think im able to make a comment about a standard myspace site... maybe im too arrogant, but i really cant be bothered listening to amateur music from myspace that doesnt have any kind of graphic side related to it. i mean.. what is the fucking point - if the site is ugly the music is probably shit aswell.
i'll give you a chance once you've made an effort.

can you elaborate?
i dont want to hound you or anything, but feedback is my only source of reference currently, and i respect the majority of you all's opinions so it'd be great if you could go into more depth.

what im saying is.. the way you present things should be a part of the whole feeling. you are not doing anything to encourage us to listen to your music.
lets say there are around 3-4 spammers a day and most of them actually make an effort to make it look appealing.. then where does that leave you?

i'm not going to fight you on this since i did ask for feedback, but i still think you're pushing the visual thing a bit heavy. i mean, i agree with you, if i was to do something visually appealing to the page the music is on, then i'm positive people would be more willing to give it a listen, permitted it wasnt too flashy/overbearing/obnoxious. so yeah, i agree with you and moreso appreciate the tip on drawing more people in to listen. however. i'm not trying to sell the page/music, or convince people i'm great or anything like that. i'm asking what you guys think so that i can use that to make better music. im doing this as a hobby, and never plan to sign to a label or anything of that nature. so i guess in my situation, i dont see why i'd need anything flashy. i put up the music, the music is the focus, the end. i mean, i'd rather have people who cared about the music listening to it than people who cared about what hot new color scheme i had up on the page. thats my opinion on it anyway.
if its really still a problem to you and you weren't just trying to get a point across, then dont bother going back because i'm sticking with the default layout.
thanks for the feedback though, regardless

It just sounds like a weird demo or something. It's not bad really, just doesn't feel complete.
