how come this wasn't brought up yet?

what are your thoughts on this?

i find it real nice and all, but nothing too breathtaking
unfortunatelly..

hm. i really wonder why they suddenly felt like putting
something out again after all the years. rather ungrateful
job to follow their own legacy, i guess...
still have to give it a try.

i think this is a really great release. It reminds me a lot
of their last album "journey through a body" but with a
modern production aesthetic.

i think there is too much focus on their relationship to
musical innovation and not enough on what the band actually
sounds like/is capable of.

while i certainly wouldn't sing unequivocal praises, because
the songwriting isn't all great. but i am glad that it has
song-qualities to it; i'm glad that there is a continuity
with what Sleazy's other group, Coil, was doing before Jhonn
Balance's untimely death.
if it isn't beyond the imagination of a lot of experimental
music today, well it's still occupying a neighbourhood that
isn't all that populated.

stylus gal puts it well
