Stupid Loops

I mixed down 8 seconds of a track and have been
listening to it on repeat for about 20 minutes.

I think I have became strangely addicted to it. It's not
that good but I love it for some reason.

Please post your own stupid repetitive loops for me to
listen to.

Thanks.

Oh, I've also posted two other short little shits on my
myspace thingy. Sex Survey and Busker...neither have
beats. Thanks.

It's interesting, when I was an arty farty type, I had plans
to do an exhibition of 1" square sections of the Greatest
Painting Never Made. Are these the musical equivalents? Or
has the old adage of three minutes being the perfect pop
song length been reduced to 8 seconds. WHO KNOES?!?

Isn't it great fun to do? One of the reasons I rarely make a
complete track is because I get stuck in the initial loop
and find it almost impossible to exit its web of trance.

God damned, you do indeed have some good creative ideas in
between your bitterness! If you made that exhibit I would
personally talk to the people over at the art hall over here
in bergen and have them curate it. I talked to a guy about
hanals works, but he was being kind of difficult the cunt. I
will try again at a later time, though.

Reminds me of the Camus character who attaches a tiny piece
of paper to the ceiling with something written on it... I
can't actually remember what it says, sorry :(

He was one of them fake-ass "avant garde" fuckers. Those who
are avant garde just to be cool, but I think he's gone. I
also think it's futile to categorise artworks in
"futuristic" or "avant garde" or whatever relating to time,
as time is only ("only" not meant as a detrimental thing)
memory (or retention), future (protention and imagination)
and present. In a larger context, these categories are more
extreme, more extended, and present or contemporal, is
wider, meaning you can have conteporary artists from the
past. Basically I think no-one is "ahead of their time," and
no-one is "stuck in the past," but everything is
contemporal.

I will read Camus. I haven't read any of his yet. The first
will definitely be the myth of sisyphus. The second will be
the plague. Then I don't know. He's important enough that I
will have to stop by him. I hope he's engaging, but I won't
getmy hopes up.

I'm definitely down for it. I can put quite a bit of public
pressure on those guys. Just pretend to be pretentious in
your description and it's doable. The best thing about the
"artworks never done" idea is that you could have just
whatever you wanted, whatever you made, even something
exactly like an artwork that was already made, but
because it was "artworks never made," it could be a "parody"
of that artwork, and that would be something never made!

I said it wasn't that good...and it wasn't intended as spam
hence why I didn't use the obligatory [spam] tag in the
heading.
Even though it's not good I still like it.

I am just interested in hearing other loops by other people
that aren't necessarily throw away loops but short little
snippets of sound that they identify with. It's called
being interested in sound and music.

I am also interested in people showing themselves up as the
penis' they are...hence why I also appreciate your pathetic
little post.

Nigel: My ISP was broke for the past two days. I have to
nip out now for a bit but I will listen to your stuff when I
get back. The same to anyone else who posts in the mean
time.

I can record my farts and loop them but it would be annoying
after some time, like when I eat too much beans. The more is
the contrary of the less. And good is the contrary of bad.
And luxury is the contrary of misery. But both are bad. So
what? Oh I don't know.

tracker in all this time by the way; not at all. But my new
yummy computer (my only friend) is coming in some number of
fortnights and sometime on the nth fortnight I perhaps plan
to install loops of fruity and partake in their loopy
