well, this is probably already old in the states, but i
just finished the first season and i am floored by its
greatness.

This could have never been made into a single movie, yet i
am sort of disappointed to have been left with so many
questions after twelve episodes.

Needless to say, i need to get a hold of season two fast.

The atmosphere, actors, music and storyline are utterly
fascinating.

Just so you know.

I saw this, and didn't like it. I understand why people
might, just not my cup of tea.

What sort of tone does this show have, sort of surreal? I
think I saw the midget from Twin Peaks in a commercial for
this. Maybe I'll demonoid it.

I've watched most of season one but lost interest in the
story at later episodes, the bearded woman didn't help.

yeah it is quite surreal and bizarre at times but not too
much.

The midget actor also plays in twin peaks and other lynch
films. He is fantastic in this series also.

I liked it a lot too, sometimes it was a bit slow and a lot
of things were like Stephen King's "The Stand" but it also
had a strange atmosphere I haven't seen very often. I wish
they made a third season, especially with the way season 2
ended...

I was hooked after the first couple of episodes. I loved the
second season too. I'll see it all over again in a year or
two. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen on tv. That
and Lucky Louie! :D
