Oh no, too slow for Staz! If I'd only just written "NO STAZ,
DON'T BOTHER" instead of launching into the usual verbose
bollocks I might've saved your time.

Fucking excellent.
I love the atmosphere...I love pretty much everything about
it.

The new version is nice, if you play it right before the
original. yeees!

whats that font dogbelgic

Points: 15098 Status: Addict | Show recordbag

Ah, dear Gwely downloading not once but twice the
indulgences of this doddery old fool and offering words of
encouragement, words so welcome and taken to heed. I'll glue
both versions together to create an mp3 10" version,
strictly for the home DJ.

And dear cuntychuck, recognising that no font quite
like Trajan Pro adds instant "class" and prestige to any
project, even if it's my hoary old bollocks.

That was a significant improvement, it's really solid now.
I'm actually going to keep it, a first for any spam off
xlt.

I'm most impressed with the fact that you listened to
people's comments, reworked the song, and ended up with a
better song. That is the internet at it's finest.

Points: 5079 Status: Lurker | Followup to Gwely Mernans: #02066506

Yeah; I still like the original, and though the newer one is
more solid, there are elements absent within it that I liked
in the original. There is a beckoning in the air, in the
bodies of all rotting animals, for a longer a version; a
version that combines the fierce drama of the original and
the controlled elegance of its bigger brother.

An Ape can please some of the people all of the time, and
all of the people some of the time, but you can't make
everyone like homemade, 5th generation Ambient Techno all of
the time.

CS2x, I was listening to your paranoid, panic attack
inducing, apocalyptic sermon disguised as an electronica
album, and looking at the sleeve, and musing on the frankly
appalling web presence of SlowFoot and the shoddy look of
MySpace, I thought it might be an idea to do a little
microsite for the album (a la Drukqs.net) that looked like
the album, and had samples. But you might not be interested,
nor even reading this.

Actually, I would be interested in this as I've been
thinking about doing some sort of website for it for a
while, but unfortately have no abilities in web-design
whatsoever. I was also tempted to put your review up
somewhere, but I wasn't sure if that'd make you very cross
or not.

The second version is markedly better than the first (which
wasn't bad by any means). I really like this track. I want
some of the anti-fans to crop up and try slating this whilst
keeping a straight face.

BTW Did you get that email containing the two future acid
classics I sent the other day?

c2Sex - Cool beans! You can use the "review" by all
means. I'd be happy to help out doing a site as the majority
of my work is quite boring or stuff I don't really feel very
enamoured about having been a part of. But I thought the
images on the sleeve went well with the music, so maybe if
you had some of those pics of your dad's we could put
together an atmospheric microsite, as they used to say. You
could make it a mega site, I don't know.

CJC I did, I am confident that the Righteous Mission
we have set upon will slay this paticular dragon once and
for all.

ripe apples, swaying in the wind, ready to drop and be
gorged upon the hungry street urchins below. their faces as
rosy with anticipation as said fruit.

a letcherous grandfather, clumsily grabbing at the rear of
an unattractive middle aged nurse. the only female company
he will have between now and his death.

morris dancing.

as your track did not make me think of any of these things i
give it a thumbs up.

Are you 100% sure it didn't make you think of the lecherous
grandad grabbing the nursemaid's rump? Not even a little
bit? Because I had scanned in this saucy postcard and via
some stupid, fucking pointless software, encoded it as the
sound that goes "pim..pim pim pim" within the track.

I was in a country pub at the weekend and they had one of
those "saucy postcard" pictures painted onto the tiles in
the gents' bog. Unfortunately, the caption was in French and
quite complex and my usually passable schoolboy french
couldn't even get the jist of what it was saying.

If it was French the joke was probably vile and
depraved and you're probably better off not knowing.

i was thinking about the lecherous grandfather beforehand.
perhaps it was a premonition of what the track would
hold in store for me. if this amazing theory is true then i
not only give the track its original two thumbs up but will
also give it a further two thumbs up to be raised at some
point in the future
. futuristic.

Oh, I'll ruin everything and say that the original version
is far superior in all aspects. I love it and it's beautiful
and it needs the distortion. The new mix is nice but kind of
harmless, polite and backgroundy. Don't let xltronic
compromise your artistic vision. As you know, there's
a lot of things they don't quite get.

Also I like the distracting, semi-random hi-pass filtering.

lovely darius I dont know what to think anymore, I
think maybe I should've not done anything in the first
place, then even if I had, recorded it to cassette and
buried it in the garden then set fire to my laptop. Oh, it
keeps me off the streets. Or las calles, as they insist on
renaming everything here.

earthleakage Like the Queen doesn't carry cash, or
that the Pope shits in the woods, you don't listen to
spam, it's just one of those things that goes without
saying. I'll check out these "Relax" guys, I think they
could be the next big thing.

michelnicholas Feel free to spam your own bollocks in
this thread, especially linking it on WATMM of all places,
that's great, really.

this case.
