ok i got the cd in the mail.. listening to it now.. definetly darker and phatter in sound, more beat oriented. only 1 min in on first track :o |

it's basically fyuti without the more epic tracks like magnasushi.. it's still nice though, just not up to soups standard.. a bit more minimal etc. |

Can someone please slsk this! I will undoubtedly buy this as soon as it is released. Has the official release been pushed back to mid June now? Argh! Anyway, we get done over with internet providers in Australia (restrictive limits, more expensive) so I'm not nearly prestigious enough to use oink- thus I must resort to slsk. |

Another great album by Bola. I can't say much as I've only heard 4 tracks, but I can say that this is no letdown. |

sounds like i'm in the minority here, but this sounds like a step backwards from the gorgeous minimal almost orchestral feel of 'gnayse'. i agree with it sounding most like fyuti.. but seems to lacks standouts like pae-paoe or magnasushi - at the moment it kind of blends into one for me until the last track. i'll listen some more, sometimes takes me a while with bola. |

Yeah. I get the same feeling. The album is decent, but nothing more. I've enjoyed his previous work, but this time, it's a step down. No standout tracks, a couple of decent one, and some weak ones. Overall, disappointing. |
