Is good music! It's a sort of.. I don't know how to
describe it best, but it makes me think of a sort of a
silent movie soundtrack / busy jazz café / studio ghibli
movie thing.

these are the only samples I could find, but I also
recommend checking out their album Kudos!

How jazzy is it compared to Jazzy Jeff?

This didn't get proper attention.

I loved them live - unfortunately none of the samples I've
heard from their studio albums are as good. They were more
edgy and angular live. The studio work is sort of cloying
loungey perfectionism.

Yeah, I really want to see them live, but the albums do
their job too! It's very.. "painting" music, if you catch my
drift. It may be simple in a way, but it's also quite
effective for setting moods, and thus good for relaxation,
even though it's hectic at times. I like it in the way I
like the music for certain movies, but the difference here
is that this music, as it isn't made specifically for the
images it is made for, works pretty good with mostly
anything.

I was listening to it while on a train ride to Oslo, and it
completely transformed things appearances. At times, the
landscape was almost like a studio ghibli film pan and at
times all the action was inside the train car, in a sort of
black and white silent comedy.. even just people walking to
the toilets or getting something from their jacket looked
awesomely comic!
