also on topic,

it's not sad because i feel anything for that fat fucking
slob

sad that it's allowed to happen and that people actually
spent money, time and medical resources that could've been
used to save lives trying to fix something that shouldn't
have happened in the first place

...and how can you possibly be too lazy to select an url,

bother typing messages saying that you're too lazy to do the
former?

not at all

i also love how that reformed fatass doctor claims that this
will happen in europe soon. i imagine not.

they didn't really talk about it, but i wonder how this guy
and his wife got all this money for food? i mean, he claims
that he doesn't eat any more than a normal person, but
anyone with half a brain knows that's bs. they wife didn't
look like she was the active type either. so were they on
welfare? that's one thing (and not the only by far) i can't
fucking stand about America, is that we actually have a
fucking government organization that helps out people who
simply don't do anything. i mean, for you people living
other places, is it an option for you to just not work ever
and still get paid? i'm all for education and healthcare and
whatnot, but it fucking pisses me off so much that i have to
give the government part of my paycheck (however small it
may be right now) so that fat slobs can do nothing.

It already is happening in the UK.

Mainland europe not as much.

He's right about the exportation (and pick-up) of America's
supersize fast-food culture being the cause.

Yeah, all the "it's my metabolism" and "I only eat normal
amounts" is utter bollocks. Metabolism count for at
most
20% of your (a lot of doctors reckon it's nearer
15%) weight (IE you might put on 20% more weight for the
same amount of food as someone with an abnormally high
metabolism). Likewise you do get people who have
intolerances to certain foods (in evolutionary terms this is
a benefit) that make them take almost all the energy from a
food whereas most people only take a fraction of it. Usually
dairy. I "suffered" from this as a kid. The answer is easy,
you stop eating the food concerned and the weight
disappears.

You don't get people like this feller in Africa and they
presumably have different metabolic rates, genes, etc.
there.

and I've lost a bit of weight.

You'd lost weight last time I saw you.

I've lost a fair bit myself recently, courtesy of some
gastric flu that left me unable to eat for the best part of
a week. Perhaps doctors could inject the chap in the video
with a mega-dose of it to help him out?
