hello!
been working super hard on the debut maudlin album and
posted a couple of finished tracks off it on myspace...
really looking for reviews, coz if this album is gonna
totally suck ass, it can be fixed if i know sooner :)

if you do listen to it, let me know what you think of the
song, and also production etc... the tracks are "the
blueprints" & "ceres"

sounds like heads both portis & radio.
the production is fine but i dont like the
vocals as much. nice to hear a cello.

on blueprint, i think the vocals would benefit from a nice
reverb of some sort. the music seems much more atmospheric,
and it seems her voice could be a bit more dreamy, in my
opinion. but the track is pretty good.

on ceres, which is very pretty, i'd consider a light wah on
her voice in the beginning, then slowly move it out and drop
the effect when the beat comes in.

have you considered maybe another vocal layer for each of
the tracks?
