I have been exerimenting with this combined with reaktor 3,
very nice by the way.

Questions if you please:

1. Can rebirth be used as a vst instrument?

2. how do i map knob movements in cubase to allow knobs in
reaktor 3 to move ?

thanks

i dunno exactly, but i think can work with cubase, just look
in the midi settings.

reaktor: switch the track to "mixer" not drum track or midi
track, then set the midi channel like the reaktor midi
channel...

wait a second, i'll turn on my softseq computer

yeah set to mixer track, make an event and doubleclick on
it, now if a preset mixer don't exist you can make one.... i
dunno exactly how it works, cuz i haven't make anything with
cubase for a long time, my soundcard's crashed, but next
week i hope i can do more with my new audiophile :)

What I like about reaktor is that there is no need to use
hubis loop back software or something of a similair nature.

I was experimenting with a drum machine in reaktor and found
that when programming the pattern in cubase, i could only
get a resonce from a certain octave of keys on the keyboard
display down the side.

I opened the help file and was shocked at the number of
files to look at. I wonder if learning how to use it is
really worth the time and effort, when fruity loops is a far
easier option.

My mate keeps telling me to use cubase, in your opinion is
it suoperior to fruity loops ? It looks more professional.

i still prefer Cubase, use it for my sampler and drummachine,
for VST effect routing, recording and mastering. Cubase is
big, has much options, edit and quantize tools, so it's not
like fruityloops (step sequencer) you're more free and can
do various things in diffrent versions... i like it, but
it's a long way to use everything you can.
