I have really wide feet. No off-the-shelf size fit me at
all. None. I've just have to have a pair of shoes made for
me for that reason, and I find it impossible to get excited
by shoes.
I seriously can't see what anyone finds interesting about a
pair of trainers.

Someone explain it to me.

I can't stand yellow laces, makes shoes look like they need
to brush their teeth. But these are nice.

Changing the topic slightly, whatever happened to those
planet mu shoes? Did they ever actually get made/sold?

BUT......

do you think you could pick up birds with those shoes on?

and the ones you do hookup with.....

would you take pictures and tell your friends about?

I don't think so.

They're IDM shoes.

In other words, you wear them in the house.

Of course you could. Getting girls is nothing to do with
your trainers it is the way you put yourself across.

Nice to know the US army robots behave in the same way as
the human soldiers.

I've got wide feet too. I can only really wear square toed
shoes (rather than pointy ones) and I find skate shoes
vastly more comfortable to trainers because of their shape
(I only wear trainers at most for a couple of hours at a
time for sports). If your feet are really wide and you need
shoes custom made, have you ever considered a pair of
Altberg boots? They're hand made and there's no surcharge
for made to measure ones. They are as comfy as slippers,
last forever and are smart enough to pass as shoes. They do
half sizes and will refund them if you're unhappy with the
fit. They're also very reasonably priced for how good they
are. Only slight nuisance is the 6 week waiting time from
placing your order.

Buy two iron on patches and stick em on your old shoes and
it'll look better, probably be cheaper plus you can have
Decepticon ones. Mmm I think I might do that. Who needs
pussy anyway?

I reckon that'd work well on a pair of black vans, with grey
soles and changing the laces to purple ones.

Thanks, they look really interesting. Pricey though. I paid
just under 300 for the pair I got.
I'll definitely check these people out next time I'm down
that way. I need a pair of really comfy boots that actually
fit. Cheers!

If we all told you the appeal of shoes, you would spend the
rest of your life envious of us normal footed people.
maybe just keep wearing the custom clogs and put it out of
your mind.

You know how closed minded parents can't understand modern
music. yeah its like that.

did, of course, mean this chirpy chappy, Fred

I love this picture of him. Just looks like a cheeky chappy.
Bit of a Chimera face.

Man, that's a TV show I haven't seen for years. I wish
they'd put it on again. It was only a short one but it was
awesome.

I just Wikipedia searched it and it's mentioned on the
disambiguation page but there's not a proper article. Gay.
