...isn't this what we use to call "sellout"? ;)

(not that I'm complaining, both the machines and the ae live
sets are awesome for shure...)

if it was the Rave-o-lution 309 then I'd be upset.

the machinedrum is by far the best synthesizer based drum
machine ever made. fuck the 808, if you have $1000 to spend
get a machinedrum

its kind of funny actually, if you pick up a machine drum
and have listened to autechre,. the first thing youd think
is that the machine drum sounds like autechre. It seems like
the manufacturers of it were autechre fans. So autechre
using one as a key component of their music making is only
natural, and is kind of like a case of life imitating art,
imitating life.

if it was a roland MC piece of crap i would be more upset.

Lots of ppl are fans of that machine drum.... i've never
used it, but it's got a whole scene of followers. so power
to them for making ppl know what they're using.....

haha, didnt Goldie front one of those new MC-boxes a few
years ago?

conclusion: goldfronts and a groovebox makes you an instant
junglist

the machinedrum is very cool, and i love it to bits, but i
must say i do love my 808 more.

if i had to choose which one to smash up with a hammer, it'd
be the machinedrum.

but the sequencer on the machiendrum is mental

damnit, i'd have to work alot more than i'm doing right now
to earn enough money to afford a machine drum, but hell am i
getting one when i can.

The rave-o-lution 309 had lots of great lo-fi sounds in it.
It was the first of its kind, then Roland started releasing
all the crap vintage-wannabee stuff.

the monomachine is also fantastic, although its been a
little harder for me to get a handle on. The machinedrum is
a lot more straightforward but im confused as fuck when it
comes to the monomachines arp and what synth engines to
choose from
