You ever REALLY listen closely to this song? This isn't
that simple... it's always called a simple little song, but
there are so many different chords in the background, along
with the main melody... and then there is the drums... it's
a great track...

Yeah, I totally agree with you. You have to listen to the
stuff in the background in some songs to really appreciate
them (i.e. polygon window - #7)

FLIM is one of my favourites, thats the track that REALLY
got me into aphex. Come to daddy was a wicked buy, I'm so
glad I bought it on the off chance it was good. MY GOD, MY
LIFE COULD HAVE BEEN SO DIFFERENT IF I'D PLUMPED FOR FATBOY
SLIM OR SOMETHING, THATS REALLY SCARY

yeah, I was pretty hesitant to buy Come to Daddy because I
always thought the pappy mix was totally fucked up... but
I'm so glad I did... I listened to it last night, and it
blows me away... even the pappy mix now... :)

yeah...come to daddy was my first aphex twin...
funny..i bought it the same day i bought tickets to a moby
concert...so you can tell what direction i was in prior to
my first aphex-experience

The first time I heard the screaming section in Pappy, I had
some sort of tingly physical reaction. How can something so
harsh be so beautiful? A true artist that man.

when my messed up brain, a quantity of hashish and
bucephalus bouncing ball collided, weird things happened in
the former! im rubbish at maths (well, i didnt do any work
at it anyway) but my rhythm instinct tells me that old rich
has quite a knack at it in his own way... all i can remember
from that night is wailing 'cant you hear the maths???' at
my stoning cohorts, before captain beefheart sent me over
the edge and i finally blacked out :p
come to daddy is indeed top stuff

flim isn't simple...

I love the way it slows down.

Oh man... one of the most beautiful tracks I've ever heard!
Those synth sounds make me melt. When the drums and
everything drop out and there's this one warm synth sound
floating there... sigh...

I love the screaming in CTD pappy mix. One of the coolest
sections of a song ever!
Flim is pretty damn good too.
