yes, i study environmental engineering. what do you wanna know?
The two largest env. problems are emissions of gasses potential for global warming (indirectly due to the largest energy consumption pr capita in the world) and secondly the large amount consumption of goods/waste problem.

Isn't it also so that we, if you take into consideration our oil being burnt not only in our country, but worldwide, actually are responsible for about 2% of the global co2 (and probably other oil-related) emissions, which is a hell of a lot compared to our relative size in terms of population and area?
I think I saw that somewhere, but I can't be sure.

I'm doing a powerpoint presentation in my environmental studies class, It's the final for the winter semester. They said pick a country, so I thought I would look into Norway. It does not have to be negative or positive. Just facts. So thank you for your input. The facts I found were actually positive.
