i have already not smoked for a week (because i was sick,
and still am right now) and thought why not give it up
completely. It's just too much money.

I promise -xltronic-, i will never touch a cig again.

I've been quit for 8 months solid, now. Been a smoker for 12
years previously.

Well done to you, keep it up etc XXX

I was doing really well until I starting doing molecular
cloning again, now all the data is giving me stress! I only
smoke about 2 in the day, but lots in the pub...it's the
pub, the pub is my downfall every time.

nice to be back on xltronic again btw.

I managed to quite smoking 2 months ago. It hasn't been
easy, but its not impossible.

Smoking is undoubtably the filthiest habit out there (unless
you enjoy sex with paraplegic midgets) and I hope you stick
it out. Pretty much all my smoker friends have given up only
to resume sometime later. Weak minded homos the lot of them.

No. There are filthier habits. But smoking does smell funny.
I never realized how much smokers actually smelt like old
ashtrays while I smoked. Now I am using that smell alone to
focus on as a means of repulsion to help me quit.

I don't want to stop smoking. I'm not addicted either, I can
sit for months without smoking, and I wouldn't even think of
cigarettes (happened before).
But I smoke anyway. When I'm outside and bored at least.

What is a filthier habit? Heroin?

And I never get a "good for you" for it.

Better to have smoked and lost than never to have smoked at
all

Nothing like inhaling smoke into your lungs after some good
booze. I just love that feeling.

understandably smoking most of the time smells (some
cigarettes more than others) but i hate people who make a
BIG fucking deal out of it. If you just have a cig or two
your not stinking to high heaven, its just some people ive
ran into are like JESUS YOU SMELL LIKE SMOKE HAVE SOME
CONSIDERATION FOR THOSE WHO DONT WANT TO DIE AN EARLY DEATH,
to those i say fuck you.

I am sure you have. Heavy addicts are always congradulating
those that don't start. Especially those that want to quit
really bad.
