God I love this album so much. It is just so fucking brutal
yet never once does it feel painful to listen to. My
personal favourite is the insane bass drones on Forest Floor
4, which is both incredibly nightmarish yet insatiably
seductive.

Fans of sunn o))) and earth really need to listen to this.
It was one of my favourite albums of 2006 and is sure to be
one of the most memorable things you'll ever hear...

hmmm, would have liked to hear more instead of that ambient
clip, or is this what most of the tracks sound like? has an
eerie feel.

The first track is completely ambient. It is 25 minutes long
and really really good.

The rest have o'malley on guitar and sound more like the
typical sunn track (with added electronics).

It is an album you need to hear as a whole I think, as loose
samples with no proper context don't do it justice.

since when does britney look like an english hooligan? i
hope her 12 years old fanbase doesn't follow her lead. that
would be truly disastrous. she's probably far more dangerous
than iran could ever be.

you haven't heard the news!? sunn o))) just signed a four
record deal with Sony BMG. I think brit is trying to remain
relevant now that the heady days of drone metal are
beginning.

KTL 2 is out now and it is just as essential as the first.
The highlight is undoubtably the 2nd track "Theme" which
lasts 27 minutes, and is the biggest headfuck you will hear
all year. It is beyond awesome.

i like it a lot
at full volume the quiet ones gets terrifying and the loud
ones gets.... well its like a sonic earthquake,
especially "Theme" while "Snow2" is pretty cinematic,
reminds me of deadman (jarmusch)
wicked band!
