since giginger seems to have dropped that idea - i'll take the bar and host this one. the thing is simple - you post in here - i'll give you a track which is meant to be remixed - very simple. i'll try to choose tracks that imho might be good and easy to remix - i have a few ideas so we'll just see how it works. at least 8 people would be cool, i'll take hosting and mixing and someone will be meant to choose my track to remix. so who's in ? |

I haven't posted in any music-making related threads here in ages, but I might be interested in participating. Is the idea just to remix a track selected by you? Are there any remix style restrictions? When is the deadline? |

yes the track is select by myself - you are meant to remix it your way - no restrictions at all. the idea in fact is interesting in two ways: first you can prove your on abilities by being given a track that might absolutely not suite you and which might be hard to remix. second it's always nice to hear what people invented around some track - i mean you listen to it and have some expectations and most of the remixes seem cimpletely unexpected afterwards. deadline - yeah you're right it would be good to have one. i would say: OFFICIAL DEADLINE IS 10th MARCH alhtough i doubt that it will be finished by then looking at previous collabos :P but in fact the salad table 1. went very smooth so i hope it will work a second time. let me just dig you up some track. |
