Since our last discussion, I've been meaning to upload a

I re-tried your thing the other day, letting the coffee cool
(and even putting it in the fridge) before adding the ice.
It was good quality coffee (freshly made Douwe Egberts
filter), but it still didn't taste v. good to me.

I think I prefer those chilled "coffee flavoured" milk
drinks in cans you get.

I think there's a big difference in our coffee's too. I
remember the first time I got a cup of coffee over in
Germany, it was this little mini-cup, 1/4 filled. My
response was "What the fuck am I supposed to do with
this?!". A few cups later, and I realised how potent the
stuff was.

Our coffee here just can't hold a candle to it.

get yourself a greek coffee set, you will love yourself
for it.

and youll be free of shitty 7-11 coffee. seriously, if youre
going to do cheap coffee, at least get dunkin' donuts.

They just did a "survey" throughout NYC, taste-tested people
on the street... Here's how they stacked up from good to
worse:

McDonalds (wtf right?)
Dunkin Donuts
Burger King
Starbucks (I think that's pure diluted-shit-water)

Hah. That's Turkish coffee :) I had a lot of that when I
visited Turkey. Strong as hell but very sweet. It's like you
get your daily dose og caffeine and sugar in one mouthful of
coffee. I don't understand how people can buy their coffe at
McD.

IWhat kind of coffee is that, btw? Lots of milk and sugar?
I'm only drinking black.

Turkish coffee (and indeed, Turkish hot drinks in general)
is great. There used to be a little turkish eatery near me
and I really liked the huge array of teas and coffees
available (there were about 50-60 different sorts). I never
had an unpleasent one.

As to coffee available in McDonalds, etc. the only
mainstream coffee store drink I really like is Nero's Chai
Steamer.

As an aside, you know that "stupid" case involving the woman
getting big bucks compensation from MCDonalds for burning
herself with coffee? I was discussing the finer points
(which of course, weren't reported) of the case with a
lawyer and the ruling wasn't so stupid after all, in fact,
I'd go so far as to say it was just.

yeah, same with the woman who put her wet cat in the
microwave to dry it off.

um, what?

i'd be very suprised if americans havent interpreted tea in
their own way and completley ruined it in the process.

I'll be back in Germany and Austria in April, maybe I'll
track down some tea, and see if it's different too. :)

Iced Tea is american isn't it?
