Here are all the pillbugs I've caught on my white kitchen floor in the past two days, also a couple in the bathroom. Everywhere else is covered with pill bug colored carpet so they're probably camouflaged all over this place that I hate. They are actually sowbugs.

They were called "potato bugs" from when I was a child.
Nice catch, by the way.

An amusing fact: they are actually crustaceans. Think about that the next time you're eating cantonese pill bug noodle soup.

w M w, I hope you handled them using the tips of 2 small paint brushes. You can injure them if you just pick them up using your hands.
I imagine this doesn't apply to the ones in fleetmouse's link, they look like you could pick them up with a claw hammer and it wouldn't matter.

tongue replacement
"The middle picture on the Isopod page shows a parasite that enters the mouth of a fish, then eats the tongue and lives in its place."

Yeah, I've picked them up with my hands before, but I remember reading in a book that using the tips of paintbrushes was much better for them.
BTW, for all the Brits who are thinking WTF are pillbugs, they're talking about the things we know as, "Wood Lice".
