Lynx deoderant/shower gel

It is just me, or do Lynx products smell sweaty?
It's almost as if they're trying to help you hang on to some
masculine "muskyness" or something. Flip up the cap and have
a niff, there's definitely a tang of BO in there.
What's wrong with just smelling clean? Thank god for Right
Guard unscented.

I stopped using deodorant when I was about 14. I despise the
synthetic gag-causing stink that is deodorant. I prefer a
person to smell like a person, not a particularly cheap and
nasty air freshener.

Lynx is an evil company that adopts kids with down syndrome
then secretely herds them into a hot cramped room where
they're forced to ride all day on excercize bikes, so that
they can collect their crotch sweat to make deodorant from.

Well. Downies have to have some use on this planet
for the 30 or so years they're inflicted upon the rest of
us.

I bet you love it when girls have perfume so heavy that when
they walk by you feel your eyes sting and the oxygen is
displaced.

If I'm going to be doing something sedantry, I don't wear
deoderent. If I'm going to be doing something where I'm
likely to be sweating (or if it's just really hot), I'll
usually try and use something oderless.

Ugh, perfume really bothers me. I don't mind a
gentle, subtle scent; it can be extremely alluring. But when
some bitch comes near me and her synthetic stinking
forcefield strikes at twenty paces, I think public flogging
should be re-introduced. Flay that overly-doused skin 'til
it flakes, I say.

But why do they make a deoderant that smells like sweat?

WTF, duuude, WTF??!?!?!!

it isn't really worse than axe: most of their deodorants
somehow go "rotten" after you've worn them for twenty
minutes, and then they smell like urine.

the first two weeks of school our year level lockers were
all crammed with heeaps of people in one area. and its
summer with 30-40 degree weather.
theres nothing worse than being very warm, in an area full
of other very warm people, with the foul smell of BO with
hints of deodorant in the warm unbreathable air...

Yeah, when there's just a small hint of the kind that gives
you a small "oh, smells good" when you first meet her that
day and then it kind of goes away, or it stays, but if it
does, you have to concentrate to smell it again.

It's best to wear Right Guard unscented, then a little bit
of quality aftershave. Diesel zero plus is nice.

They are the same thing. Axe is just marketed as Lynx in the
UK.

Axe / Lynx have got some classy names, like Voodoo,
Conviciton, .. Vice was a new one I saw. I do like the
androgynous octogenarian whiff of Nivea so all my bathroom
products, deodorant, after shave balm, shaving foam, are
from them. I don't have the hand cream though and that's the
ultimate source of Nivea.

The best deodorant I ever had was an Imperial Leather one
but it was on the market for approximately 8 seconds. It's
the equivalent to me of Phobia's fabled TNT.

The word "Axe" has sexual connotations in the UK,
particularly in the East.

Africa and Java are the really horrible musty sweaty gym
shorts ones. I dont like the deodorants, they dont work. The
shower gels are okay. I prefer a bar of soap, i get kind of
pissed off by the way people have been lead to believe they
need at least three different kinds of soap when in fact
they are all just soap which should be very cheap

I always quite liked lynx atlantis, but yeah.. it has a
definite "still at school" vibe about it.

Right Guard is ok as it is practically odourless and keeps
you nice and dry. Sure for men is pretty good too.

For aftershave, I like versace blue (and its pretty cheap
too) and ysl m7.
